According to the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 67,151 new Coronavirus cases and 1,059 new deaths were recorded in the country. The total number of cases since the pandemic started has reached 32,34,474 which includes 59,449 deaths.
The total number of patients recovered from the virus is 24,67,758 in the country pushing the recovery rate to 76.29 percent. Among the states which are reporting the highest number of cases on a daily basis are Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka.
Maharashtra remains the top in the hardest hit of the pandemic accounting for 7,03,823 cases which are followed by Tamil Nadu reported 3,91,303 after Tamil Nadu Andhra Pradesh reported the highest number of cases in last 24 hours are 3,71,639 followed by Karnataka reported 2,91,826 cases and Uttar Pradesh with 1,97,388 cases reported.
However, the people recovered from the infection are 24,67,758 which risen the recovery rate to 76.29 percent. According to the World Health Ministry, Data number of cases reported in-country is increasing day by day. India is in the third position that is worst affected by the COVID-19 pandemic after the United States and Brazil.
