Five states which reported the highest number of COVID cases in the last 24 hours are Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. According to the data showed this morning by the Union Health Ministry of India 61,408 infections are reported in a single day and India’s coronavirus caseload climbed to 31,06,348.
Deaths reported in the last 24 hours are 836 of people dying of the disease and death tally riches to 57,542. 23,38,035 people are recovered from the infection pushing India’s recovery rate to 75.27 percent.
Among the 5 States reported the highest number of coronavirus cases Maharashtra accounts for the maximum cases that are 6,82,383 after Maharashtra comes to Tamil Nadu which reported 3,79,385, followed by Andhra Pradesh 3,53,111. Karnataka with the caseload 2,77,814, Uttar Pradesh 1,87,781 and Delhi said with 1,61,466 number of cases.
According to the World Health Ministry, Data number of cases reported in-country is increasing day by day. India is in the third position that is worst affected by the COVID-19 pandemic after the United States and Brazil.
