The corona vaccine is expected to arrive soon, but the coronavirus is spreading much faster than that. In the country’s capital Delhi, Corona has spread so much that the hands of the system have begun to swell. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is saying that 90 percent of ICU beds are full in Delhi.
Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the first batch of 250 ICU beds will be received from the center soon. He told that Delhi will get 750 ICU beds from the center. At present, 26 thousand coronavirus infected patients are in home isolation in Delhi.
At the same time, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government has no intention of putting a lockdown. Lockdown is not a way to fight the corona. Medical management is the only way to fight it. At present, 26000 people are in home isolation in Delhi. We have 16000 beds out of which 50% beds are empty.
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that I want to assure the shopkeepers, they need not be afraid. We do not intend to impose lockdown. We want your shops to be open. If needed, some markets can be sealed, which have been sent to the center, but this will not be a lockdown in any way.
Manish Sisodia said that when the ICUs were 90% full, we were worried about this, we talked to the central government and the central government talked about giving us 750 beds. As soon as these ICU beds come, then we do not have to worry about the ICU either. Delhi Government is doing all the arrangements to stop Corona.
