Health authorities of the United States of America are now debating whether to use face masks while public appearance. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released an internal memo, where they are suggesting using simple cloth masks, as it could help to diminish the chain of virus transfusion. This was also reported by the Washington Post.
The guideline says that now the masks should be worn by the medical staffs, the patient and his/her attendants. As there is a shortage of supply of N95 and surgical masks all around the United States of America, medical staffs have been told to reuse the masks or use scarf’s or bandanas to prevent the infection.
Coronavirus Task Force from the White House has shared this advice also. The health experts arguing that the masks can primarily help to the asymptomatic patients, who are infected with COVID-19, unknowingly spreading the virus to others. Also, Masks may reduce the risk of the transmittable virus through the droplets from someone’s sneeze or a cough. It is really important to teach them how to use it.
And now, health experts are suggesting the alternatives that the citizens needs to wear non-medical or cloth masks – which can be produced by them. It’ll also to help compress the curve without depending on the medical supplies.
