LJP chief Chirag Paswan said it was a declaration of Nitish’s defeat. If Nitish is announcing his last election, thinking that he will escape from the investigation by taking himself in seclusion, I will not let this happen. On Thursday, the last day of the Bihar assembly election campaign, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced at a Purnia rally that this is my last election, all is well.
Politics has intensified regarding Nitish’s statement. In such a situation, LJP chief Chirag Paswan said, ‘This is a declaration of Nitish’s defeat. If Nitish is announcing his last election, thinking that he will escape from the investigation by taking himself in seclusion, I will not let this happen.
Chirag Paswan said that Nitish Kumar never talks about retiring, but he came to know that the public is not going to give an opportunity for service. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not be able to escape the corruption that he has done from the liquor ban to the flood relief package. Embankments are made in Bihar, they break up within a month. This shows how corruption has happened in Bihar. In such a situation, Nitish Kumar will not be able to sit in seclusion without investigation.
On the question of giving employment to the youth, the LJP president said that Tejashwi Yadav and Congress also had a stake in the Nitish Kumar-led government. The BJP was in government for the last decade, then why did not it give jobs to 19 lakh people. Earlier, RJD was in government even then jobs were not given and why did Tejashwi Yadav not give employment to youth even while in government with JDU.
Chirag Paswan said that the Bihar elections were held at such a time that even Papa (Ram Vilas Paswan) could not remember him properly. At the same time, he said that his father politically has prepared so much that I can face every situation. After the death of his father, such a situation was created that no one is ready for the election. The Bihar election was on the head and I had only two ways, either I would raise my hands or I would fulfill my father’s last dream Bihar First Bihari First. During this, personal attacks were made on me, but we did not back down.
On the question of separating from the NDA and contesting elections, Chirag Paswan said that we had so much courage in myself that I have landed alone on the electoral battlefield. At the age of 38, he worked alone to challenge Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while the rest of the people have entered the electoral arena with the help of some or the other.
