China is not leaving any effort to make headlines every day. Now they are getting permission to form an expedition to Mt. Everest in this amid the pandemic situation. As this peak is in the border of China and Nepal, China has closed its sections to the foreign climber in response to COVID-19. Nepal also cancelled all the scheduled expeditions to enclose the community transfusion of COVID-19.
Surprising more than 12 climbers from China has started their journey and they are expecting to reach an advance base camp at an altitude of 6,450 metres within Friday. This was stated by the China Tibet Mountaineering Association.
It will be an unpredictable turn of events if those climbers reached at the summit in Spring 2020. In history, the Chinese had reached the summit in Spring 1960. Indians have tried also, but somehow they didn’t reach to the conclusion.
Chinese had set various recons, research and training climb from 1958-1967 when no other countries have stepped on the mountain. Also, there were no ascents by other countries.
The mountaineers are now climbing up and down, to acclimatise themselves with higher altitude before making the final move towards the summit. All they are waiting for the proper weather.
