A Chinese group running a terrorist cell in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul has been busted. About 10 Chinese citizens were involved in this. Due to the disclosure of the involvement of Chinese citizens in terrorist activities, China has suffered a lot of embarrassment. Quoting the top ambassadors and security officials of Afghanistan, Hindustan Times has written that China is trying to convince the Ashraf Ghani government not to let the matter come out. However, Afghanistan has asked China to officially apologize.
The Afghanistan National Directorate of Security (NDS) has arrested 10 Chinese citizens on charges of spying and running a terror cell. They are being told about the intelligence agency of China. NDS had arrested Chinese citizens on 10 December.
