China has expanded its territory upto Rui village of Nepal and forcibly removed its boundary pillars. Now, China has its total control on Rui village in Gorkha district. The residents of Rui village of around 72 houses are fighting for their rights and original identity. China has also allegedly conquered some of the lands at 11 places across Nepal. China has also made some inroads into Nepal in order to take complete control.
Historian Ramesh Dhungel said that Rui and Teigha villages were located in the northern part of Gorkha district. He said,” Rui gaon is a part of Nepal. Neither Nepal lost it in war nor it was subjected to any special agreement or contract to let it belong to Tibet. Nepal lost both of its villages Rui and Teigha due to the negligence at the time of fixing pillars.”
Nepal government has some corrupted officials, due to this the 35 number pillar was fixed between the two villages Samdo and Rui. The whole village fall under the Chinese control. Recently, the parliament of Nepal has made clear Constitution Amendment Bill that shows the country’s new map that includes territories with India- Limpladhura, Lipulek and Kalapani. Nepal Prime Minister KP Oli announced to brought these areas within Nepal map as soon as possible.
