West Bengal has faced a disastrous period due to COVID-19 situation along with Amphan super cyclone, which ravaged the entire southern region of the state. People are facing so many problems with logged water, electricity dysfunction, uprooted trees, demolished properties, shortage of drinking water and daily water supply for usage. The state government has been issued a reshuffle for the bureaucrats.
The government is assigning a new commissioner of Kolkata Municipality Corporation. As people of Kolkata has protested against having issues with disruption of Water supply and electricity service. They are clamouring the restoration for water and electricity supply, as it has been two days since the cyclone has destroyed the communication system around the city.
Khalil Ahmed has been vote off by chief minister, as he has unable solved the entire situation rapidly. The city is under restoration. As per social distancing measures, many places have not been in a state of normal life. Along with that many parts of southern districts have faced disruption of electricity and water supply. Also, many coastal villages are in underwater, rescue teams are there to give food and shelter for them.
