A 34-year-old man named Sarandeep Singh was arrested by Police officials for violating the curfew rules. On Friday, the accused was travelling on his Fortuner without wearing a mask. Police also confirmed that the person had a fake registration number plate on his four-wheeler.
A case was registered against the accused of disobeying the public order (Section 188). And this was followed by Section 473 for counterfeiting a number plate. On Wednesday, Manoj Parida the UT Adviser had already issued the orders for wearing a mask.
The accused also tried to manipulate the Police personnel by mentioning his political contacts. Later the case for registered against him and Police personnel handed him a mask for covering his face.
