Th Indian premier league was scheduled to start on March 29, due to the coronavirus outbreak. The tournament was then postponed to April 15, as the conditions are not yet favourable, the BCCI will have to delay the commencement of the country’s most anticipated cricket league.
The Board is looking up for every options available and now have also opened the option of hosting the leaugue in July.
According to reports the country’s cricket board was looking for scheduling the IPL in October- November , but at the same time ICC’s T20 world cup is going to be hosted. Now the board is hoping for the situations to get normal by July and to possibly host it during that time. A BCCI official reported.
