If you are not showing any symptoms of cough, pneumonia or difficulty breathing you are not required to wear medical masks. So masks are integral for the health and civil care employees looking after victims and are also advised for household members who need to look after somebody who is sick.
Any N95 respirator or surgical mask can be employed as a deterrence. Surgical masks are loose-fitting, disposable face masks that insure a person from splashes and large-particle droplets. Whereas an N95 respirator can filter out 95% of viruses or bacteria and is further tight-fitting.
