The UK Prime Minister after immense treatment at London’s ST Thomas Hospital is now discharged.
Boris Johnson was admitted in hospital last week and after 3 nights of intensive care he was moved to the ward on thursday.
After the discharge the PM thanked the hospital staffs for the care he got during the treatment. He mentioned names of two nurses in his video message on twitter, Jenny from NewZealand and Luis from Portugal. He said that the two nurses stood by his bedside fro 48 hours during the critical times.
The Prime minister continuously iterated thanks to the medical staff. It is thanks to that courage, that devotion, that duty and that love that our NHS has been unbeatable,” he quoted. The 55 year old added that the situation could have gone either way.
The Medical team advised the PM to not immediately return to work. Foreign secretary Dominic Raab is currently leading the govt in Johnson’s absence.
