Major action has been taken against Congress MLA Arif Masood, who organized a protest against French President Emmanuel Macron. Bhopal Municipal Corporation has broken four illegal constructions of Congress MLA Arif Masood in Indira Priyadarshini College. A few days ago a case was also registered against the MLA.
It is being told that the Bhopal Municipal Corporation on Thursday started taking action on the buildings constructed in the catchment area of the big pond in Khanu village. Here, Indira Priyadarshini College of MLA Arif Masood also remains. Due to coming in the catchment area within a radius of 50 meters, the Congress MLA has put four illegal constructions on hold.
Earlier, an FIR was registered against Congress MLA Arif Masood from Bhopal Madhya Vidhan Sabha seat. Arif Masood led a massive protest against French President Emmanuel Macron on October 29 at Bhopal’s Iqbal Maidan, in which a crowd of thousands gathered.
During the demonstration at Iqbal Maidan, people demonstrated against France for a long time, bypassing all rules of social distancing and masking. After this, an FIR was registered against 200 people including Arif Masood. In this case, another case was filed against Arif for hurting religious sentiments under Section 153.
Significantly, after the protest in Bhopal, there was a political uproar in Madhya Pradesh. The very next day of the protest, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra had made it clear that strict action will be taken in this matter.
