An expected 6,000-6,500 Pakistani fear based oppressors are in neighboring Afghanistan, the vast majority of them with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, representing a danger to both the nations, an UN report has said.
The 26th report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team concerning ISIS, al-Qaida and related people and elements said that the dread gathering al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) works under the Taliban umbrella from Nimruz, Helmand and Kandahar territories of Afghanistan.
“The gathering supposedly has somewhere in the range of 150 and 200 individuals from Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and Pakistan. The current head of AQIS is Osama Mahmood… , who succeeded the late Asim Umar.
“AQIS is supposedly arranging counter tasks in the locale to retaliate for the demise of its previous pioneer,” it said.
