Prasad Dinesh is allegedly responsible for affecting nearly half of Sri Lanka’s Coronavirus cases i.e. 2600
Prasad Dinesh, who is a 33-years old Auto Driver has been blamed by Sri Lanka’s government for affecting a lot of people. It is believed that he has nearly affected 1100 people in his village, including 900 navy sailors who were affected during the operation in Ja-Ela.
He is referred to as “Patient 206” and all the cases that were found had been linked to him. However, Dinesh still doesn’t accept this allegation and says “I can’t accept that I am responsible for infecting so many, including the navy sailors”. Dinesh even told about the problems he is currently facing, as people recognize him as “Patient 206” and refuse to give him a job.
Ajith Rohana, police spokesman on this issue said “He is a turning point and has caused huge damage to our county”. Dinesh had tested positive on April 5, when he was arrested on the charge of robbery. He has a fever when he was arrested and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he tested positive and was quarantined for 31 days.
