On Wednesday Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had called a high-level meeting to discuss the overall crisis of COVID-19 situation in national capital Ahmed the rising number of infections day by day. The meeting had taken place at 11 a.m. which was attended by the Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, Chief Secretary Vijay Dev, and other officials of the State Health Department. On Tuesday the state registered 1,544 cases the higher single-day tally in over a past month. And over the past few days, Delhi has witnessed a slight rise in COVID-19 cases reported on a daily basis.
According to the Union Health ministry stash board, 161,000 8 the total number of cases in the national capital and the death toll stands at 4,330.
Till now, 147,743 people have recovered from the infection. On Tuesday, Delhi reported 1,544 fresh new cases of coronavirus and 17 deaths.
According to the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 67,151 new Coronavirus cases and 1,059 new deaths were recorded in the country.
The total number of cases since the pandemic started has reached 32,34,474 which includes 59,449 deaths. The total number of patients recovered from the virus is 24,67,758 in the country pushing the recovery rate to 76.29 percent.
