Legendary Hindi film industry actor Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for Coronavirus and has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. The information was shared by the actor himself after reports of him being taken to hospital came to light. “I have tested Covid positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !,” Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.
The 77-year-old Shahenshah of Bollywood is currently working in Ranbir Kapoor and Aalia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Bachchan is also working on the 12th edition of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). However, owing to government’s Covid-19 lockdown rules for senior citizens, he has not been able to resume to work and finish the shooting. The megastar cannot shoot until the Maharashtra government makes amendments in the guidelines or allow the senior actors to work.
