Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah will undertake a two-day visit to West Bengal from November 5. It is believed that Shah is going to take stock of the party’s organizational matters before the 2021 assembly elections. Amit Shah will also participate in many meetings during this visit. Previously BJP National President JP Nadda was going to visit West Bengal but now Home Minister Amit Shah is going to visit West Bengal.
West Bengal BJP general secretary Sayantan Basu said that the scheduled visit of BJP national president JP Nadda was cancelled from November 6. Basu said on Friday night that JP Nadda’s visit has been cancelled for the time being. It has been decided that Amit Shah will visit West Bengal from November 5 on a two-day visit.
He said, ‘He is expected to visit Medinipur district on November 5 and the next day he will meet the party leaders of the state. The program has not been finalized yet. West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said that Amit Shah’s health was bad in the past, due to which BJP president JP Nadda was going to visit West Bengal. But now his health has recovered. Hence, instead of JP Nadda, Amit Shah is coming on a two-day tour to South Bengal. During this time he will meet BJP workers.
