Although both the countries have been hit hard by the coronavirus, both have left no chance to stay away from quarreling. The Pandemic, COVID-19 has already taken away more than 5,000 lives in the United States and around 3,000 in Iran yet they don’t prefer leaving each other.
The U.S. president, Donald Trump warned Iran that if they try to attack the troops of U.S., they will have to pay a heavy price. Both the countries got indulged in warning each other on Twitter. Trump in a tweet wrote, “Don’t be mislead by usual warmongers, AGAIN.” To which Iran’s foreign minister replied, “Iran has FRIENDS: no one can have millions of ‘proxies’.”
However, thiese war tensions have risen back in 2018, it took even a serious escalation when Iran’s major General Qasem Soleimani was killed in Baghdad by the United States this January. These powerful allies didn’t even mind the atrocities caused by the pandemic, although they’re among the top rankers who have lost more number of lives.
