Finally, all the 13 team members of Chennai Super Kings have returned after testing negative for coronavirus tets as said by franchise CEO Kasi Viswanathan.
Few days before the news came that a few members of the Chennai Super Kings had tested positive for COVID-19 those 13 players have been reported negative for the COVID-19 test. The test was conducted on Friday in which all were tested negative.
According to the reports of test which took place on Thursday thirteen players were tested positive which includes a fast bowler Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad this leads to extending the team quarantine period for six days more.
The team CEO Kasi Viswanathan informed in a media that al;l 13 members will undergo another test on Thursday and said that we hope that all will tested negative and soon they will start their practice. Currently, players are not allowed to do practice in the nets only after the Thursday test the will be allowed.
Soon, Deepak and Ruturaj will complete their 14 days quarantine period and will be joining the team members for practicing in the nets. They will be allowed to join after getting negative reports of two consecutive tests.
The bigger news for the Chennai Super Kings fans is that from 3 September more tests will be taken place in which they will be reported negative and then they will continue their nets practice.
For this tournament, the BCCI has budgeted a big amount nearly about of Rs 10 crore so that more tests could be conducted for coronavirus in between of the Indian Premier League which will be starting from September 19, but there is a piece of bad news for all the CSK fans and that is this year fans will be not seeing their favorite cricketer Suresh Raina. He had returned to India due to some family problems and he will not be playing the tournament this year.
