Following Ranbir Kapoor’s latest coronavirus test, Alia Bhatt confirmed on Friday that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home quarantine.
Alia took to Instagram stories to share a lengthy message with her followers, telling them that she is actually following all of her doctors’ safety protocols.
Alia wrote in her letter, “COVID-19 is a virus that I have tested positive for. I’ve immediately isolated myself and will be quarantined at home. My physicians have advised me to follow all safety precautions. I appreciate all of your love and encouragement. Please be cautious and secure.”
For the uninitiated, Alia tested negative for the novel coronavirus on March 11th. After her boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who had been shooting for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ with her, tested positive, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actor had resumed work.
In terms of work, Alia Bhatt will star alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film ‘Brahmastra.’ Her upcoming films include SS Rajamouli’s highly awaited ‘RRR,’ in which she stars alongside Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Ajay Devgn. ‘RRR’ is also Alia Bhatt’s first film in the south. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt plays a mafia queen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi.’
