On Friday Air India express said that all air India express flights from earth to Dubai will operate as per the original schedule starting from September 19 area the Dubai flights were suspended by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
According to the reports, till October 2, the Dubai Aviation regulator canceled Air India express flight the reason behind this was that the flight had brought passengers with COVID-19 positive cases twice during the last couple of weeks.
One of the government officials said that “A passenger who had COVID positive certificate dated September 2 traveled On Air India Express Jaipur to Dubai flight on September 4. Previously, a similar incident took place with the passenger one of the Airline’s other Dubai flights”.
As per the rule of the UAE government, each passenger traveling from India must carry your coronavirus negative certificate to fly to Dubai.
According to the airline based on their communication to UAE, the concerned ground handling agencies have taken appropriate punitive action against their employees who have been held accountable for the lapse at Delhi and Jaipur.
Air India Express also tweeted that “as an abundant precaution the airline has advised the handling agents to implement a three-tier checking mechanism to avoid such lapse in the future”.
