The God Father of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus. The 77-year-old actor confirmed the news on Twitter, adding that his family and staff are also being tested. It has now been reported that his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, has also tested positive for the Virus.
“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !” Amitabh confirmed on Twitter on Saturday evening.
“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you,” Junior Bachchan tweeted.

The doctors at the Nanavati hospital have reportedly confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan was symptomatic. The actor was already isolating at home before he was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. But he was rushed to the hospital after complaining of breathing issues. He also Tweeted that BMC is now taking care of it and Do not panic.
