Wellington: Aaron Finch, an Australian skipper became the first batsman from his country to hit 100 sixes in T20Is on Thursday.
Finch is now sixth in the list of players who have hit 100 or more sixes in T20Is. He achieved this landmark in the fourth T20I against New Zealand at the Sky Stadium in Wellington.
Finch also over-took his opening partner David Warner to become the leading run-scorer in the shortest format game for Australia.
His scorecard includes scoring 2.310 runs including two centuries and 14 half centuries in 70 matches. The fifth T20I will be on March 7 at the same venue.
