Apart from the fact that blood is red in shade consisting of Hemoglobin, Red Blood Cells (RBC), White Blood Cells (WBC), Platelets and other necessary substances, there is one additional aspect that comes into account when the topic of blood is taken for dialogue, that is blood types.
Almost everyone on this planet is quite knowledgeable with the prominent blood types which are A positive, B positive,O positive, AB positive, A negative, B negative, O negative, and AB negative. O positive is the most naturally found blood type on this earth. O blood group is the universal donor, for which it is greatly appreciated worldwide. Furthermore, AB positive blood is known to be the universal acceptor.
On a comprehensive basis, AB negative blood type is evaluated to be the rarest blood type on this earth. But there is something called “The Bombay phenotype” which is a manifestation whereby distinct entities of the blood are absent resulting in an individual having a mixed blood type. Almost a negligible 0.0004% of the world’s population carry such an extremely extraordinary blood type.
There is even an extraordinary repository of this blood type so that people who possess it can have a blood transfusion if required. Something bizarre about this blood type is that this unique blood type can be transfused to any person with a regular blood type which clearly highlights the fact that this blood type is a universal donor like O.
