Pregnant Women suffering a lot amid lockdown, as majorly hospitals are denying them for treatment or admission. A 26-year-old pregnant woman died in an autorickshaw in Thane, as she couldn’t manage to admit her in hospital. Mumbai police filed a case against three hospitals, which refused that pregnant woman.
This incident happened in the night between May 25 and 26. The woman, Asma Mehendi was getting labour pain. She went for the medical support to three hospitals, one by one, as she was rejected to get admit. It was Bilal hospital, who denied at first. Then she moved out to Prime Criticare Hospital and Universal Hospital; unfortunately, no one helped her in that critical moment.
As she was getting stressed and weak by all the circumstances, she passed away in the autorickshaw. Her family member goes to the Mumbai Police and filed FIR against those hospitals. BJP leader Ram Kadam also shared a video on Twitter regarding this incident, quoted “shocking and unfortunate”.
