A Chinese journalist has been chased and detained in Wuhan on 26 February. He broadcasted the chasing and detention by police. On Wednesday, he shared a video on the online video platform, where he stated that he was in quarantine.
Li Zehua is a citizen journalist, visits Wuhan in February to find another journalist Chen Qiushi, who went missing. He came to know that there is so many bad news which is abducted by the government. They are only allowing good news like recovering patients and on.
He started doing stories over this cover-up of infection and busy crematorium, which was alleged by his friend from media. So he visits Wuhan in the vehicle by streaming live on YouTube. Suddenly some vehicle asked him to stop. Instead of stopping, he sped up in confusion and fear.
Thus the police chase him to his house, knock to his door. When he responds to that, then he was taken to the custody. Before that, the police has taken his fingerprint and blood samples, as he was roaming around the contaminated area. Thus he sent for the quarantine. The journalist has shared another video to clear this matter.
