In some isolated parts of the city, there is was a heavy rainstorm around 70 mm to 100 mm in the last 24 hours as informed by a senior India Meteorological Department. Not only in the isolated parts of Mumbai city the same happens in the neighboring cities of Mumbai also like in Thane there was a heavy rainfall which was more than 120 mm. In Raigad also there was a heavy rainfall reported which was 161.4 mm during the same time.
In the last 24 hours, Mumbai city has received heavy rainfall ranging between 70 to 100 mm especially in the isolated parts of the city same is the case with Thane it has been said that there will be rainfall of more than 120 mm in the isolated parts of the city. In the rest of Maharashtra, there will be moderate rainfall as tweeted by IMD Mumbai center’s deputy director-general K S Hosalikar.
According to the report of IMD in the region of Dahanu, the weather station in the coastal Palghar has reported the rainfall of 90.1 mm in the last 24 hours whereas in the Thane Belapur Industries Association 57.2 mm rain has been recorded.

In north Maharashtra in the Jalgaon district has received 25.5 mm rainfall and in Parbhani district 20 mm rainfall has recorded.
