The resident of Indore who allegedly used to enter the PGs and flats of the girls was caught and arrested.
On Friday, Shrikant who used to sneak into the girls’ PGs and Flats and allegedly tearing their underwear, was kept in the almirahs. He was caught and arrested by the Vijay Nagar Police, Indore. Shrikant was always able to flee from the site and escape most of the time.
The Police coordinated with the Nagar Suraksha Smiti and the deployed security guards to look at the targeted and suspicious areas. When the accused entered a house, the police were alerted and arrived at the scene, quickly arresting him.
“Different persons were asked to keep a close watch and take a stroll in these localities every night in search of the intruder.” said Tehzib Qazi, Vijay Nagar police station in-charge.
After interrogation, the accused accepted all his crimes even told about how he worked as a security guard and had been accused of theft and harassment in the past
