Mornings can be difficult for many people who are prone to feeling tired on a daily basis, making them irritable much of the time. Yes, it’s difficult to be cheerful when you’re exhausted and depressed — all of which, unfortunately, is beyond people’s influence.
However, according to satisfaction researchers, there are basic morning rituals that can have a significant impact on how people feel during the day. Choose A Fitness Habit and Add It to An Existing Morning Tradition
It’s on purpose that the first tip is so wide. And the fact is that there are many evidence-based methods that individuals should employ in order to increase their satisfaction.
As a result, you may want to devote some time to meditation in order to cultivate mindfulness. (One easy technique is to close your eyes and concentrate on taking ten deep breaths.) Alternatively, you may be fascinated by reports suggesting that adding exercise into your everyday life might make you feel happier. Perhaps you’d like to spend a few moments each morning concentrating on whatever nature you see outside your window if it’s the grass in your yard or the sky above the world.
The trick is to begin with one – whatever it is and then attach it to an existing routine. Then you wake up every morning, go to the bathroom, and then make your bed. Link a part of the routine (say, making the bed) to the habit you want to develop (say, reading 10 pages of a book). You’ll be much more inclined to stick with it if you add it to what you already do.

That’s because, she said, anytime you reach for your cell (or smartphone, or machine, or switch on the TV) first thing in the morning, you’re essentially welcoming the outside world to control your mood.
And there’s a lot of research to back up the argument that screens make us unhappy. Frequent use of social media has been related to a decline in mood over time, although a high number of emails has been linked to general feelings of unhappiness in other studies.
Although there is a plethora of activities that can help improve satisfaction in the morning, psychologists and clinicians often refer to one because it is so effective: gratitude. There are a variety of approaches to incorporate gratitude into your morning routine, however it can (and should!) be straightforward.
