He said that exporters are left with “extremely” scarce options to work and if production lines are not permitted to work with a base workforce, a considerablelot of them will endure “misfortune of unemployment” which will carry them to the verge of conclusion as they are burdened with fixed cost that regardless must be consumed by them.
“With dropping of more than 50 percent of requests and bleak gauge for the future, we expect 15 million unemployment in fares and rising NPAs (non-performing resources) among sending out units, hitting the economy gravely,” Saraf said.
He included that divisions including clothing, diamonds and gems, calfskin, handworks, designing and materials are seriously hit by the lockdown. “We are losing markets to China. All requests are going to China as they have continued work. It will be late on the off chance that we won’t start our production lines now. Little economies like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka too have reported alleviation bundles,” he said.
