The central govt is set to give an amount of Rs 11092 Crores to the central govt for fighting against the COVID 19 pandemic.
Union Minister Amit Shah approved a total of Rs 110092 crores to all states. The fund is to be taken from The Sate Disaster Risk Management Fund, SDRMF for setting up qaurantine facilities and for precautionary methods against the pandemic. The Honbl Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on hhis video conference with the CM’s have given assurance regardinfg the same.
This fund is allowed to be utilised for quarentine facilties, screening services, testing laborities, healthcare services, purchase of neccesary items such as ventilators and air purifiers, disinfectants etc, purchase of protection equipment for the police, health workers and fire force.
The Modi led govt is trying its best to break the chain and make the country free from the corona virus which is said to be originated in China in December 2019.It is continuously supporting the states irrespective of the political differences.The country is going through a complete lock-down for 21 days following the idea of social distancing.
