Now coronavirus starts affecting the people in Andaman and Nicobar islands.
Recently ten members have been tested positive for this deadly virus. It is said that those 10 people belong to the Great Andamanese tribe. The government is fulfilling all the concerns of the people of the remote areas of the country.
Out of the ten people, six people have been recovered and are allowed to follow the home quarantine. While others are under the treatment process in the local hospital of the area as informed by one of the officers of AFP.
Only fifty Andamanesse have survived today and live on a tiny and small Strait Island where the government has specially put on some treatment process and has given them shelters and food.
The total population of the union territory is around 4,00,000 and among this small population 2,269 has been reported positive for the coronavirus. The territory also includes 37 deaths still now.
After this incident, the Authorities sent some health team members in order to look out to those affected people. These six members are reported positive in the archipelago’s capital of Port Blair.
Few tribe members traveled to Port Blair where they have some government jobs to do.
After this, the health team tested 37 samples of the coronavirus test among which four of the members were tested positive. All those who were tested positive are now under treatment in the hospital as informed by one of the officers in charge under health Avijit ray.
The senior government officials of tribal welfare Sanjiv Mittal said all the authorities members are doing their best in order to maintain the safety of the people.
Now India has become the third-worst country among the whole world who has been facing from this virus. It is followed by the US and Brazil.
Around 60,000 people have died from the infection so far.
