Robotics Plans to Cut Operating Expenses

ReWalk Robotics said Monday morning it plans to cut 2017 operating expenses by 30% compared to 2016 by reducing staffing and corporate spending and by completing specific projects focused on quality improvement initiatives.

The exoskeleton manufacturer also said it will re-double its efforts on reimbursement policies with insurance providers.

In reference to a partnership with Harvard University’s Wyss Institute over next-generation soft-suit exoskeletons, ReWalk also said it set an expedited commercialization date for 2018.
